On June 30, 2025, the "Industry Outbound and Cross-border Trade Summit - Mineral Salon 2025" was successfully held in Shanghai, organized by the Foreign Investment Work Committee of the Asian Economic Cooperation. During the salon, NEJAKWA SILILO MALAMA, the Deputy Director of Human Resources and Administration of the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Resources of Zambia, comprehensively analyzed the local resource endowment, investment policies and cooperation access mechanisms, providing authoritative references for Chinese enterprises to layout the African market. In the special topic of China-Zambia mineral resource development cooperation, representatives of both enterprises shared successful cases of project joint ventures and resource exploration. The practice of technology export focused on cross-border adaptation solutions for Chinese mining equipment and green mining technologies. Through specific application cases of the copper and cobalt mine project in Zambia, it demonstrated the implementation effectiveness of Chinese technology in the African mining environment.

The professional salon session was centered around two core themes: In the section on emergency support and safety production in mines, industry experts explained the international standards for safety management system construction and key points of risk prevention; The digital mine solution section shared the cost optimization practices of AI, big data and Internet of Things technologies throughout the mining process, providing replicable Chinese experience for the digital transformation of traditional mining.

The specially arranged one-on-one enterprise matching session at this summit achieved remarkable results. Through on-site presentations and demand matching, both sides reached preliminary cooperation consensus on several mining exploration and technology transfer projects.
